Tsar to Lenin is a documentary about the October Revolution made by a guy who was a communist at the time.
How Yukong Moved the Mountain is a movie in twelve parts about the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution. Probably the the best documentary on communism you can find.
Black Power Mixtape documentary about the Black Panthers.
They Say They Will is about the Revolutionary Communist Party of the US in the '80s before they devolved into their present sorry state.
A good documentary about the ppw of Peru from the times before the bourgeois historians began their work of distorting and smearing the whole affair.
Red Ant Dream is about the work of the Naxalite's ppw in India.
Inside the New People’s Army is a new documentary about the ongoing people's war in the Philippines in two parts.

Speaking of the Philippines, aside from your recommendation, an excellent one to watch is A Rustling of Leaves directed by Nettie Wild.

can recommend The Battle of Chile to any leftist i know. just an incredibly well crafted doc about the fascist overthrow of Salvador Allende and how the reactionaries/liberals pulled out all the stops to get him out of office.
parts 2 and 3 are on the same YT channel
