Of course, this can't be proven, since people can say anything, but memory can be inaccurate as well, but I'll take the benefit of the doubt. You can listen to the show yourself.
"I was there! At the time, I thought it was a very crappy concert, altho perhaps good theater if you like to be insulted repeatedly. I remembered him only starting 3 songs but I guess I am wrong on that count. I’ll have to listen to this when I get home to my own computer since I am visiting France. I am leaving for Paris tomorrow so maybe i will have to visit his grave?

My brother, who was 12 years old at the time and my dad both went to this concert at Dinner Key Auditorium in Coconut Grove. They went separately of course. When my dad talked about it years later, my brother said he was there. Naturally my dad said, “you were only 12, what were you doing there?!” He was pissed that the Doors didn’t play a full show and give the kids their money’s worth! Never mind the exposure incident…

Wow, simply amazing to be able to hear this. I was there as a 14 year old boy. I remember my brother and I being upset because we really didn’t get to see the Doors perform, however, little did I know that it would become such a historical concert. For the first half of the show, I was right by the side of the stage, watching Jim go behind the amps and drinking from a bottle. The last half I was on the second floor, right behind the stage watching the crowd go crazy, until Jim finally jumped/got pushed into the crowd. You could see the mass of people move like waves as he made his way through the crowd. I’ve had nothing but faint memories of his rants and yells, but listening to this after 41 years is a real treat. Also, to this day I still contend that he never exposed himself. I was watching him to the very end and that simply did not happen. I recently went to see the old Dinner Key Auditorium in Coconut Grove. Went inside, walked around and saw the second floor level were I stood watching the Doors so many moons ago. It was hard to believe they actually played there at all. Thanks so much for posting this.
